These vintage ice cream glasses are from pressed glass. The set includes 4 beautiful glasses. The sundae glasses have a clean design and a stem. The ice cream glasses are probably from Hungary from the 1940s-1950s.
The beginning of producing pressed glass items dates back to 1850. These glasswares were manufactured in cast-iron moulds and were marketed as an economical alternative to hand-cut crystals. They were also cheaper, so they quickly became popular. Manufacturers had to make many patterns to stand out from each other.
