This antique sugar sifter comes from the time of Art Nouveau and is from Germany from the Württemberg Metal Factory. According to the hallmark, it dates back to the years between 1909 and 1920. This ostrich mark was introduced in 1909 and was used until 1930. The sugar sifter is one of those amazing pieces that will never fail to impress and that will also make a nice gift for yourself or an antique lover. It is also a useful and decorative accessory in every kitchen. The antique sugar sifter is in great condition. There are no dents or other damages, just a couple of signs of age.

WMF, formerly known as “Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik”, is a German tableware manufacturer, founded in 1853 in Geislingen an der Steige. It used to be a metal repairing workshop. By 1900 they were the world’s largest producer and exporter of household metalware, mainly in the Art Nouveau style. In 1955, WMF started the production of commercial coffee machines. The company is still active today.
