This vintage porcelain tray is from the Porzellanveredelung August Alboth from Germany. According to the hallmark, it dates back to the years between 1967 and 1970. The tray is a gorgeous piece for serving drinks and small snacks for your guests. The wonderful kitchen accessory has a golden rim and floral motives. The tray is one of those amazing vintage pieces that will never fail to impress and that will also make a great gift for a vintage collector or yourself. The vintage porcelain tray is in great condition. There are no dents or other damages, just a couple of signs of age.
August Alboth founded his porcelain decorating business in Coburg in 1872. His son Ernst joined a few years later. After August Alboth retired in 1898, his successor relocated the factory to Kronach. The company declared insolvency in 2001 and another German porcelain manufacturer bought it.
