Description:

This stunning vintage brass milk jug and sugar bowl set hails from James Deakin & Sons* manufacturer in England, dating between 1886 and 1893. Originally silver-plated, the set is marked with the EPNS hallmark, which stands for electroplated nickel silver, indicating its high-quality craftsmanship. The hand-hammered texture of both pieces adds a distinctive touch, making them not only functional but also beautiful conversation starters.

The set is perfect for serving milk and sugar cubes at your next coffee or tea gathering. It brings an antique elegance to any occasion. While the silver plating has completely faded over time, the brass has developed a charming patina that only enhances its vintage appeal. The vintage milk jug and sugar bowl are in great condition, with no dents or major damage, just a few minor signs of age that reflect their rich history.

*James Deakin founded the manufacturer in Sheffield in 1866. In 1886 his two sons entered the partnership and the firm became James Deakin & Sons.
