The plate has an unusual shape, a beautiful floral pattern in bright colours and a golden rim. This piece is perfect for serving your home-cooked dishes when you have guests over. However, it is also a gorgeous home decoration. You can hang it with some other plates on the wall and create a vintage atmosphere. It is an eye-catching decorating idea and will lend the room a unique look. The porcelain plate is in great condition. There are no cracks or other damages, just a couple of signs of age.
James Aloysius Kent founded the manufactory in 1897 in Longton. It was a family business until 1981 when another pottery manufactory took it over. The company is not working anymore, they closed their doors in 2008.
