Description:

This vintage sugar bowl is from the Victora Porcelain Factory in Czechoslovakia. It dates back to the years between 1885 and 1927. The factory used this hallmark only till 1927. The sugar bowl has a beautiful floral pattern in bright colours and a golden rim. The original lid is still preserved. The vintage sugar bowl is not only a perfect accessory for tea parties, but it is also a lovely decoration in the kitchen. It is in flawless condition. There are no cracks or other damages, just a couple of signs of age. The golden rim has faded in some parts.

The company Lazarus & Rosenfeld Ltd. established the Victoria Porcelain Factory in 1883 in Karlovy Vary. In 1885 Franz Schmidt bought the factory and renamed it Porzellanfabrik Victoria Schmidt & Co. 60 years later the factory became a part of state-owned Starorolský Porcelán. Nowadays, it is part of Thun Karlovarský Porcelán.
