This blue porcelain plate is from France from the Gien porcelain manufacturer. According to the hallmark, it dates back to the years between 1971 and 1984. The plate has a beautiful blue landscape pattern. This piece is perfect for enjoying your meal, but it is also a gorgeous home decoration. The Gien Faïencerie was first established in 1821 in Gien in the Loire Valley. Its founder was Thomas Hall, an Englishman, who wanted to promote and expand fine English faïence in France. At first, the manufacturer only produced crockery, later it started producing dinner services and decorative pieces.
